1. Introduction

Hyper ICT Oy ("we", "our", "us") provides a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) service through our website (www.hyperict.com), allowing users to upload documents and receive chat-based responses derived from those files. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

Email address: For login and KYC verification.

Uploaded files: Content that users upload to the system for processing.

3. Use of Cookies

We use cookies solely for managing session information during login and usage of our service. These cookies are essential for system functionality and security.

4. Storage and Data Location

All uploaded files are stored on Microsoft Azure servers located in the United States.

5. Data Retention

Files remain stored until the user explicitly deletes them. Upon deletion, the files are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

6. Encryption and Security

Files are not encrypted, either in transit or at rest. Users must not upload personal, sensitive, or confidential data. Uploading such information is strictly prohibited and may lead to account suspension or termination.

7. Third-Party Access

We use Microsoft Azure to store uploaded files securely in data centers located in the United States. While Azure provides the infrastructure for file storage, it does not have access to the content or metadata of the files uploaded. The RAG processing is performed entirely by our own proprietary system.

We do not share any personal information or uploaded content with any third parties for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose. No third-party service has access to your content unless required by law.

8. User Responsibility

By using our service, you agree not to upload any personal data, whether it belongs to you or another individual. You accept full responsibility for the content you upload. Hyper ICT Oy shall not be held liable for any legal or personal consequences resulting from such uploads.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@hyper-ict.com. We operate in compliance with Finnish and EU (GDPR) regulations.

2. Eligibility

Our services are open to all users. No age or professional restriction applies.

3. Free Tier

Users may upload up to three (3) files for free.

4. Paid Plans and Cancellations

Paid plans are available.

You may cancel your subscription within 10 days of first use to receive a full refund. Upon cancellation, all your files will be permanently deleted.

No refund is provided for cancellations made after 10 days.

5. Prohibited Use

The following activities are strictly forbidden and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account:

Uploading personal or sensitive data

Uploading illegal, offensive, or copyrighted material

Abusing or exploiting the system

Violating these terms in any form

6. Service Errors

In case of system errors or service interruptions, your payment for the affected month will be refunded.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, documentation, and services remain the property of Hyper ICT Oy. Users retain ownership of their uploaded files but grant the system permission to process them for generating responses.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising will fall under the jurisdiction of Finnish courts.
